rmta EVENTS
RMTA members organize and host music competitions for piano, vocal, and strings each year. Any student from the Primer level through Advanced may participate. RMTA members have the opportunity to enter students in all of these events. Non-members have the opportunity to participate in the annual Spring Competition.
These competitions are judged by experienced hired judges from all around the DFW area for the most fair evaluation. This gives our students an opportunity to have "outside ears" listen to them perform and give fair critiques to help them grow as musicians as well as providing the students experience with auditioning.
Students that place in the top of these competitions receive awards including trophies and ribbons.
