We are so excited and proud to announce our first Glynda King Scholarship winners! From left: Ava Attar, Lorien Britt, Audrey Attar, Aurora Attar.

The scholarship , which was open to the entire community, was created in honor of Glynda King – a beloved piano teacher, friend, community pianist and RMTA member, who passed away in August of 2021 after battling pancreatic cancer.

RMTA is proud to announce that we are accepting applications for the Glynda King Scholarship. The late Glynda King was a great influence not only on RMTA, but also our community as she served in her church as well as touched the lives of so many of her loving piano students.

To honor her memory, RMTA has assisted her family to set up a scholarship fund for accomplished pianists and piano students that are active in their church and show high academic achievement who reside in Rockwall County.

The Spring Competition was held on Saturday, April 15 and the Finals Recital was held on Sunday, April 16. Here are some of the winners from this years festival. Congratulations to all of the students who participated!

Saturday, Jan 20th, 59 piano students performed in the RMTA sponsored Scales Olympics. Congratulations to all the students for learning their scales, inversions, and arpeggios for their level. Thank you RMTA teachers for putting together this fabulous event!

RMTA hosted the Fall Festival Competition last weekend. There were over 100 students performing!
